Pipeline welding rod E6010 cellulose welding rod

Description: E6010 is a high-cellulose sodium-coated electrode for direct current. The electrode can be used for all-position welding, has a large arc blowing force, can realize single-sided welding and double-sided forming, has fast melting speed, clear molten pool, easy slag removal, strong anti-porosity performance, and convenient operation. It can be applied to other welding fields that require high all-position welding technology, such as boiler pressure vessels, large bridges, etc.

Cellulose electrode E6010 means: E-indicates the electrode; 60-indicates that the tensile strength of the weld metal is ≥60MPa; 10-indicates that the coating type of the electrode is high cellulose sodium type.

The metal strip that melts and fills the joint of the welded workpiece during gas or electric welding. The material of the electrode is usually the same as that of the workpiece. The electrode is a melting electrode coated with a coating for electrode arc welding. It is composed of two parts: the coating and the welding core.

Executive standard: GB/T5117-1995 "Carbon Steel Electrode" AWS A5.1 "Carbon Steel Electrode for Manual Arc Welding"

Precautions:

  1. It is not allowed to re-bake the electrode before use.
  2. This type of electrode should be stored in a closed container. Once the package is opened, it should be used as soon as possible to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or environments with large temperature changes.
  3. The interlayer temperature should not exceed 150C.
  4. Welders must wear work clothes, welding gloves and foot covers when welding. It is absolutely not allowed to roll up the cuffs, wear short-sleeved clothes or open clothes to perform welding work, so as to prevent the skin from being burned by welding spatter.
  5. When the welder replaces the welding rod during the welding process, it is strictly forbidden to throw the welding rod head, so as not to burn others and cause fire accidents.
