E7018 is a low hydrogen type electrode for the welding of 490N/mm² grade high tensile steel. The welding can be done with high deposition rate, good X-ray soundness and mechanical properties. The full name of 7016 electrode is E7016 electrode, that is, low hydrogen potassium carbon steel electrode, which is suitable for welding medium carbon steel and important low alloy steel. This kind of electrode should be dried before use, and the weldment should be processed. It is necessary to clean up the oil stains, rust stains and moisture on the surface. It is best to use the two methods of short arc welding and narrow pass welding.

Both AC and DC can be used and can be all-position welding.
