1.The glue (pressure) coating sets the pile into a smooth, even plane with a faint waxy glow - the kind of quiet sheen that reads as expensive microfiber rather than cheap shiny vinyl. Because there is no heavy emboss or print, the colour stays clean and uniform across the roll, which makes the fabric easy to pair with wood, leather and metal furniture. The coating also acts as a light barrier: spills, pet hair and household marks lift away with a damp cloth.

2.At 300gsm the coated face is fine and light, but the bonded single-side fleece backing builds it into a workable upholstery weight that sits flat over foam and resists the shifting common with a thin unbacked cloth.
