Commercial poultry bleeding troughs are generally manufactured from stainless steel and designed with drainage connections for blood collection and cleaning. .

Working Principle

After poultry is killed, the carcasses remain suspended on the overhead conveyor during the bleeding process.

The Blood Collecting Trough is installed below the conveyor line. As blood flows from the carcass, it is collected inside the stainless steel trough instead of falling onto the factory floor.

The collected blood is discharged through the outlet pipe into a storage tank or recovery system.

The inclined trough design allows:
