Working Principle

The feather loosening machine is installed before the scalding machine.

After bleeding, poultry carcasses enter the loosening tank through the conveyor system.

Inside the machine:

• The carcasses are immersed in warm water.

• Spiral rollers equipped with rubber rods rotate continuously.

• The rubber rods gently contact the feathers and skin surface.

• The relative movement loosens and separates feathers.

• Water penetrates deeper into the feather layer.

• The prepared carcasses enter the scalding machine for final feather treatment.

The combination of mechanical loosening and warm water improves scalding efficiency compared with conventional soaking methods.
