Product Overview
The Sheep Carcass Segmented Cut Saw is designed for the secondary cutting stage of sheep and goat processing. Installed after carcass chilling, this machine enables operators to divide whole or half carcasses into commercial cuts with high dimensional accuracy and minimal material loss.
Unlike carcass splitting saws used immediately after dressing, the segmented cut saw is specifically intended for portioning chilled carcasses into shoulders, racks, loins, legs, saddles, and other wholesale or retail cuts.
The machine features a rigid 304 stainless steel structure, a precision‑guided sliding table with ball‑bearing support, manual blade tension adjustment, and a removable product holder. These features ensure smooth product feeding, stable cutting performance, and easy sanitation in accordance with modern meat processing standards.
The standard HT‑S305 model is equipped with a 2.2 kW motor, offers a maximum cutting width of 400 mm, a maximum cutting height of 410 mm, and a 900 × 850 mm sliding table, making it suitable for medium and large sheep processing facilities.
Typical users include:
Sheep slaughterhouses
Goat processing plants
Meat cutting workshops
Export meat processing factories
Deboning and portioning facilities
Working Principle (Processing Workflow)
After carcasses are chilled and graded, they are transferred to the cutting room where the operator positions the carcass or primal cut on the sliding table.
The workpiece is guided smoothly toward the continuously running band saw blade by means of the ball‑bearing sliding table. The stable table movement and rigid frame help maintain straight cutting lines while minimizing vibration.
Once each section is cut, the portions are transferred to trimming, deboning, packaging, or vacuum packing stations.
This workflow improves cutting consistency, increases yield, and reduces operator fatigue compared with manual cutting methods.
Main Features
Heavy‑Duty Stainless Steel Construction
The complete machine frame is manufactured from 304 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, hygienic performance, and long service life in meat processing environments.Precision Sliding Table
A ball‑bearing guided sliding table enables stable product movement and improves cutting precision while reducing operator effort.Large Cutting Capacity
Suitable for processing whole sheep carcasses, half carcasses, shoulders, legs, saddles, loins, racks. Maximum cutting size: Width: 400 mm; Height: 410 mm.Manual Blade Tension Adjustment
The manual blade tension mechanism allows operators to maintain proper blade alignment, ensuring accurate cuts and extending blade life.Easy Cleaning Design
The folding table structure and removable product holder simplify daily sanitation and maintenance, reducing downtime between production shifts.Quiet & Stable Operation
The rigid housing and balanced drive system minimize vibration and operating noise, helping maintain cutting accuracy during continuous production.

A lamb processing facility in Eastern Europe upgraded its cutting room by replacing manual cutting benches with the HT‑S305 segmented cut saw. After installation, the plant reported more consistent primal cuts, faster processing of chilled carcasses, and improved workflow between cutting and packaging stations. The stable sliding table also reduced operator fatigue during long production shifts.
