Orange Folding Flip Shoe Box With a Lid

The box is made of thick hardboard, and a layer of coloured paper is wrapped over it. Each of the four corners has a paper tab cut into it. The tab is folded in from the inside over the corner, and the corner locks. With the four sides up the box is square. The base is one whole sheet, and the four sides stand on the tabs. Laid flat the box is one sheet of board, and the triangles are already cut at the four corners.

The inside and the outside of the box are one colour. The box mouth and the edges are wrapped, so no white edge shows when you turn the box over. The inside of the base is the same colour too. The coloured paper is pressed onto the board, and the paper surface is flat. Orange, black, red, white and kraft are all made.

The lid and the body are joined by one sheet of board. When you close the box the lid comes down and covers the box mouth. There is a crease line between the lid and the body, and the fold follows the line. To open the box you lift the lid up. When the lid is closed it sits level with the box mouth.

- Open it out: one sheet of board lies flat on the table.

- Stand the sides: fold the four sides up to the crease line.

- Fold the tabs: the paper tabs at the four corners are folded in.

- Close the lid: the lid comes over and is pressed flat.

The size, the colour and the printing on this box are all set to the order. There are four sizes, and they take anything from a small accessory to a large shoe. The colours are orange, black, red, white and kraft, and a colour can also be matched to a card. Words and a logo can be printed on the box, and gold can be stamped. An insert can go inside, with slots cut for what goes in. All of this is done in our factory, and the board, the coloured paper, the cutting and the gluing are done in one place.
