What Sets This Bag Apart

Most paper gift bags attach their handles the same way: punch a hole, thread the ribbon, and glue a paper reinforcement patch on the inside. It works, but it looks unfinished — and over time, the patch peels, the paper tears, and the bag fails.
We build our pastel paper bags differently. Each handle passes through a polished metal eyelet (grommet) set into the paper — no glue, no patches, no raw torn edges. The result is a clean, architectural detail that communicates quality before the customer even touches what's inside. Combined with a soft matte pastel finish and micro-branding (just a small logo in one corner), this bag feels less like packaging and more like a design object.

Why eyelets matter for paper bags:

No tearing at stress points - Paper alone can't handle the friction of ribbon handles pulling against a punched hole. The metal eyelet acts as a bearing surface — the ribbon rubs against smooth metal, not raw paper fibers.
No glue patches on the inside - Standard bags hide a glued paper reinforcement strip inside each handle hole. It's functional but cheap-looking. Our eyelet system eliminates this entirely — open the bag and the interior is as clean as the exterior.
Cleaner visual line - The polished silver eyelet creates a deliberate contrast against the matte pastel paper — a small hardware detail that elevates the entire bag.
More durable over repeated use - Customers reuse bags with eyelet handles more often because they don't degrade. More reuse = more brand impressions for you.
We offer metal eyelets in silver, gold, rose gold, or black finishes, and can also produce bags with standard reinforced hole construction if preferred.

Customization — What You Control

Color - Base paper color, handle color, eyelet finish, and print ink color — all independently customizable. Go tone-on-tone for a quiet look, or introduce contrast through the eyelet finish.
Logo & Branding - Our design philosophy for this bag is micro-branding: a small logo, wordmark, or monogram in one corner. But you control placement, size, and whether to use single-color or full-color printing. Want all-over branding? We can do that too — but we'd argue the restraint is what makes this bag special.
Handle Options - Beyond the signature satin-through-eyelets setup, choose grosgrain ribbon, cotton webbing, twisted paper cord, or flat woven fabric handles. Single or double handle configurations depending on bag size. For brands that want the eyelet aesthetic with a different handle material, we can mix and match.
Size & Structure - Standard sizes from small (22×18×8 cm) to large (45×35×15 cm), plus fully custom dimensions. Add interior pockets, magnetic closures, or reinforced bottom inserts for heavier products.
Finishing - Matte lamination (standard on this design), glossy lamination, soft-touch coating, spot UV, foil stamping, or embossing/debossing.

DETAILS & MATERIALS

This bag works best for brands whose identity is built on taste, not volume:

Independent fashion labels and ateliers — Where the packaging has to feel as considered as the garment
Skincare and beauty brands — Clean, clinical-adjacent aesthetic that signals purity and restraint
Jewelry and accessory designers — The eyelet detail echoes the metal hardware in the product itself
Lifestyle and homeware stores — Matches the muted, curated palette of contemporary interiors
Florists and event stylists — Soft pastels complement natural arrangements; eyelets hold up to heavier bouquets
Corporate gifting and welcome kits — Understated enough for professional settings, refined enough to feel personal
