Pink Ribbon Gift Paper Bag

The handle is a single ribbon with no join in it, so the surface under your fingers is smooth and a full bag does not cut in. The ribbon passes through the top of the bag, which means the pull lands across the whole rim instead of on one point. Pick the bag up loaded and the handle stays where it is, with the top edge holding its line. The face stays clean too: the ribbon goes through to the inside, so nothing shows on the front.

The board is laminated with a matte film, so the surface does not catch the light and the pink reads solid rather than shiny. That film is what takes the scuffs: bags rubbing together in a car or on a shelf do not leave white marks on it. Underneath is thick white card, so the bag stands straight instead of softening as it fills. The print sits under the film, so the letters cannot be felt with a thumb and will not rub off.

The face carries one line of large letters along the bottom, white on pink, and the two colours read apart from across a shop. The letters run the full width and nothing else is printed on the panel, so from a distance the bag is a band of white on pink. They are printed into the sheet rather than applied, so the edges stay crisp, and the film goes over the top of them.

We are a paper bag factory, and most of our work comes from clothing shops, beauty brands and companies that run in-store events. Printing, lamination, threading the handle and gluing the bag are all done in our own factory, so the bag does not pass through another plant. Colour is most of what we do: the same bag can be run in your shop palette, in another colour or another size. The letters and the artwork can be re-cut, moved or scaled, and shops often settle several versions at once and produce them in batches.
