Two Handle Options, Pick the One That Suits Your Tea
There are two handles, and you pick one to suit the tea: one is satin ribbon threaded through two punched holes, which feels smooth in the hand and does not cut into your fingers when you carry a full bag, and the bag looks understated; the other is a wider cotton webbing fixed with rivets at the mouth, which spreads the load, holds a full tea gift set and keeps the print from rubbing off. Both are fitted through punched holes, so the handle sits straight instead of leaning to one side.
Chinese Ink Style Printing, Tea Pots and Calligraphy
- The paper carries a Chinese ink style picture — tea pots, cups and flowers with calligraphy — in a light ground and dark ink, so it reads quiet rather than busy.
- The front, the back and both sides are printed, so the bag carries a picture whichever way it is held.
- It is printed in full colour, so the shading in the picture and small details such as the red seals come out clearly.
- One set of tea gifts can be packed with a different picture on each bag, so a shop window does not look repeated.
Thick White Card, the Bag Stands Up on a Shelf
The bag is made of thick white card, so it holds itself up: put a full tea gift set inside and the walls do not bulge, and the top edge does not curl outward. Set out on a shelf in a tea room, the bag stands on its own instead of folding down into a heap.
Folded and Reinforced Base, It Carries a Whole Tea Set
The base is folded and reinforced: the bottom is folded and glued flat, so a full tea set rests on a solid base and the bag does not open up from underneath when you lift it, and the body does not pull out of shape under the weight. Because the base is flat, the bag also sits steady on a table while you pack it.
Your Logo and Artwork, and Where the Bag Gets Used
- Your logo, the tea name and the brewing notes can be printed on the paper.
- The artwork can be changed to your own picture, on the existing bag shape.
- A whole tea gift box, a single cake of tea or two tins all sit in this bag.
- Tea room retail, business calls, festival tea gifts and trade fair handouts all use it.
From Printing to Handle Fitting, All Done in Our Factory
These tea bags are printed, punched and fitted with handles in our own workshops, one step after another, without sending the work out. The two handles are fitted differently: with the threaded satin ribbon the holes have to line up and both sides of the ribbon have to be the same length, and with the riveted webbing the rivets have to sit flat without marking the paper, so punching and riveting are separate steps and a finished bag is lifted and checked. On printing, the bag is printed in full colour against the colour sample you give us, so a batch is even and a repeat order matches the first one. We have made plenty of bags for tea customers — tea cakes, tins and full gift sets need different sizes and different stiffness — so tell us what the bag has to carry and we set the paper and the bag shape from that. Hot gold stamping is also available, so a tea name or a logo can be pressed on rather than printed.
