Luxury Bow Decor Paper Shopping Bag

A white satin bow is tied at the mouth of the bag, and it can be taken off. Leave it on and the bag is ready to hand over as a gift; take it off and the same bag is a clean white bag that a customer can carry from the shop. The bow sits over the cord handle, so it hides the point where the cord goes into the paper and gives the front of the bag one detail to look at.

The specialty paper is thick, so the bag is firm: the top edge does not curl, and the bag stands up when it is set down. The base is folded and reinforced, so a gift box sits on a flat bottom and the bag does not open up underneath when it is carried. Several sizes are available, from one that takes a single piece of jewellery up to one that takes a boxed set, so you pick the size that fits what you are packing.

The embossing, the mouth gluing, the cord threading and the bow tying all run one step after another in our workshop. The twisted cord is threaded through the punched holes and knotted inside, so the knot stays out of sight and the cord cannot pull out; the bows are tied by hand, and both loops and both ribbon ends are kept to one standard, so a dozen bags on a shelf look the same. The bow is made to come off, so a few bags from each batch are taken apart and checked, to be sure the mouth is not damaged when a customer takes the bow off.
