The small one takes a beauty set, a candle or a piece of jewellery; the large one takes a folded garment or several small boxes packed together. Because both sizes are already cut and stored, a repeat order comes from the same board and the same die. A buyer can start with one size and add the other later, and the same logo sits in the same place on both.

- For a candle brand: one jar candle and a box of matches fill the small size without sliding around.

A shop can change the occasion with a printed band, a sticker or a ribbon instead of buying five different boxes. Because nothing is printed on it, the box also sits next to a printed product without competing with it. For a brand, that means one size covers the year and only the band has to change.
