Drawer Jewelry Gift Box With Ribbon Handle

A satin ribbon runs through the lid and comes out as a handle, so the box is carried the way it is. Nothing else has to be bought for it: no paper bag, no second ribbon, no wrap. The ribbon and the drawer tab are cut in the same colour, so the box reads as one piece. Carried by the ribbon, the lid stays on top of the drawer, so nothing can slide out on the way.

The box comes in cream, pink, deep green, grey and white, and those shades are kept in stock. If none of them suits your brand, your own colour can be run for the order. The ribbon and the drawer tab are cut in the same shade as the box, so nothing looks added on. Inside, the tray is white: pull the drawer out and the bright part is where the eye goes first. Gold and silver pieces and stones read clearly against that pale surface.

The box is a shallow square, so it takes little room on a counter or in a display case. Pull the drawer out and it lies flat on the counter, which is where a ring is set in front of a customer. Because every box is the same square, a row of them stays level, and a stack does too. One box fits in a hand, and the ribbon lets a customer take it away without a bag.

Our factory starts with the board: it is laminated with the special paper, creased and folded into the drawer and the lid. The flocked tray is cut to the drawer size and glued in level, so the surface sits flat. The ribbon is threaded through the lid and the tab is set into the drawer front, in the same colour as the box. Each box is opened and closed once before packing, to check that the drawer runs without catching. Then the boxes are packed by colour, so a shop receives the shades it ordered together.
