Multi Size Luxury Gift Box With Matching Bag

The lid is a full tray of its own, so it comes off in one piece instead of being hinged or folded back. Once it is off, the whole tray is open, and the box can be filled and packed without holding the lid up. The lid then sits down over the tray again, and the ribbon runs around both to hold them together.

The edges of the box are turned over twice, so the rim is two layers thick and no cut edge shows. Because of that, the sides stay straight instead of bowing out, and the box keeps its lines when a gift is put in. Boxes of the same size stack without tipping, which is how a shop keeps them ready. The corner where the two layers meet is pressed flat, so nothing catches on the inside when a gift is lifted out.
